Hmm,how have all of yous been doing?

I heard from Mrs Erp that the Sec 1's are doing VOCAL TRAINING.

Good luck at that!!

Now,for some of the Sec 1's who totally hate the training,lemme tell you.

IT AIN'T EASY BEING AN AWESOME SINGER.

Seriously.

I had to do loads of training too before I'm what I am today.

So were your other seniors.

At least no one's there to push you people around and ask you to do push-ups and jumping jacks!!

At our time(which was probably 2-3 years ago),people like How Cher and Derrick still like to 'torture' us.

Now,we(the committee) say, "Ok,we don't follow their steps,we don't scold the members so much."

EHH,good life ahh you all.

And yes,I know how it feels to hate choir.

Believe it or not,99.9% of us SEC 4s actually DESPISED CHOIR when we were SEC 1.

Well,that's another story you need to ask the other seniors.

hmm..okay update no.1: Alyssha and Amira r moving onto a new stage of publication..
after a golden opportunity on national day celebrations, these 2 hav decided dat it was time 2 shine...
a useful information frm our dear conductor, Mrs Erp, has brought up da hopes of both choir members 2 da brim..
A competiton(4giv me but i dunno wats da name) dat involves da participation of singing, dancing or acting..
and of course, our dazzlers hav decided 2 spring da light on singing contemporary..
auditions will be held in Dec and if they managed 2 impress da judges,
they'll be taking one step closer 2 fame..
i've heard frm da participators dat winning dis competition, can get u a one-way ticket 2...
HOLLYWOOD!!!
n yes, it is true..
so lets hope for all da best for them on da dates of da auditions!!

2nd update: lets nt 4get da schl exchange program happening on 25 November...
dats y i say..
sharpen up ur skills now..
a 2nd time for seniors n a 1st time 4 da juniors..
it involves going 2 another schl(luking @ it's facilities & boys[haha juz kiddin])
n learning how 2 differ da quality of both choirs..
dis will help 2 understand better @ where our choir stands..
da last time da choir had an exchange program was 2 years ago(if i'm nt mistaken)...
Mr Ong had taken us 2 a schl(i din c lots of cute guys ^_^""" boohoo)..
i tink i had 4gotten da schl name..i tink it started wif a letter 'B'.
n honestly when i was dere..
i dun mean 2 be so modest but i tink we were way better than them...
teeheehee..i'm serious...
da choir had 2 hold out scores n were nt unified...
well dats wat i saw in my sec1 eyes @ dat time...
dis year's schl exchange will be wif....

but i feel dat dis is a great experience 4 every1 in da choir n hope dat every1 will cum..

3rd update: Choir Barbecue.
I'm sorry 2 say. but it seems dat dis piece of news hasnt gotten 2 da main organisers of dis outing but i've got baaaad news..
We cant do it @ my place..
i'm sry..@ 1st we tot of doing @ my place cuz i rmbred dat when i was 10 years old, my family did a barbecue 4 me on my birthday..
but now dey tell me dis when i asked for a pit..
"I'm sorry, miss. But now the condominium is under a brand new management ever since two years ago and unfortunately, this management does not entitle free access to the barbercue pits anymore. This is because during the last management, the pits were already bought by the previous management but for this latest management, we have to get our equipment from another organisation. That is why residents are required to pay."
so we cant do it @ my place at all..
when i asked 4 da price, da guy said dat he'll get back 2 me once he got sum file stuff..
but no matter where da place...it is most likely going 2 be in December..
so keep ur 1st &/0r 2nd week of Dec free as one of da days will be our very own BARBECUE!!

dats da main theme 4da outfits' nxt year's competition..
if i were 2 recap correctly, dese r da decisions made by Sopranos and Baritones(sry i do nt noe Altos one)
Soprano: -Colour: Hot Pink & Black
-Appearance: Knee-length skirt..i'm nt sure if da sops agreed on a full dress of separate
Baritone: -Colour: Pink, brown and black
-Appearance: Long pants(duh!), vest n long sleeves..
costumes hv yet 2 be decided or confirmed..

4th update: The Decision

by now every1 sud hv heard abt it...
Munirah's stepping down from her post as Prseident...
claiming dat her studies were of main importance & absolute 1st priority in her schl life,
Munirah has decided 2 release herself frm da work of da choir committee as well..
honestly i reli cant figure out y..
i hear different reasons abt it...
n 2 be honest, i dun wan her 2 step down...
she's tried so hard in gettin da President post n now it feels lyk her efforts were wasted...
i still rmbred da time she had finished her interview(2 be president), Munirah was cheering wif joy..
she was so happy and relieved dat she did da jumping jack..
n we(Me n Alyssha) were so happy 4 her..
cuz we, da 3 best friends, be da 3 top posts..
2gether in schl, choir n committee..
but i guess it was meant 2 be 4 only a period of time..
2dy, Friday(14Nov), she'll be giving her FINAL answer 2 Mr Chew..
n dat final decision will determine da future of our Choir, Inspiration Del Coro.
i noe dat da whole choir will miss her(if she decides 2 leave da committee), n so will i..
it wont feel rite nt working wif her..

wish tuu sayy that i haf decided that,

i would like tuu quit my position as daa president..

plus withdraw myself frm daa commitee..

alright some of my kids(juniors) are gonna be disappointed..

when i first became daa president,

but it turns out i was wrong..

cos u guys haf proven me tt u guys do appreciate me..

between daa good ones and daa noti ones..

most of daa noti ones are daa ones who will greet me when they

see me ANYWHERE..

So,what do you people think of the choir camp?

Fun?

Boring?

So-so?

Well,the camp`s not so well-done,says the ex-seniors.They feel that there are some sections where it could be improved.Mainly it would be discipline.To explain it further,there are examples.

It took you guys more than five minutes to settle down into your groups or sections.This shouldn`t be the case.Next time,try to settle down faster,okay?

Also,there were some people who still walked around outside their quarters after lights-out.Isn`t the instruction "NO GOING OUT AFTER LIGHTS-OUT" made clear to all of you?If you don`t feel sleepy,just stay in the classrooms,whisper to your friends and that`s it.If you want to go to the toilet,tell someone or better,a committee member so that we know that you`re not missing.

Do you know that if any one is missing,the responsible ones would be the teachers?Pity them,lah.

There are other mistakes,but even telling you those mistakes might not help.So please,try to improve on your discipline and don't give the committee a hard time,okay?

Okay,so it`s confirmed.The Choir Camp '08 would be on the 8th and 9th of March.
Assemble time..7.30am,I think.

You`ll get to know your groups when the camp starts.It`s going to be fun!

As usual,there`ll still be practices so please bring your choir file.

The checklist for the stuff you have to bring would be given soon.

So,be prepared.
